International company, which unites national accreditation services all around the world, which conducts the appraisal of deuces (management systems, products, personnel,..) IAF assure that national accreditation services are full of competency, independent and that worldwide system of appraisal of deuces will be united and credible.
Certification bodies are accredited by national accreditation services.
All members of IAF have signed MLA agreement (Multilateral Recognition Arrangements), which assures that awarded certificate from each certification body accredited by national accreditation service (national accreditation service must be member of IAF) is valid and accepted all other members of IAF, it means all around the world. IAF has got authority, it means that countries which do not have own representative in the IAF, accept certificates awarded with IAF accreditation.

European co-operation for accreditation has established in year 2000 as an organization for covering appraising the deuces in scope of certification of management systems but also in other areas (testing and calibration, certification of products, certification of persons, inspection activity, and verification of compliance the environmental management system according to EMAS). Members of EA are national accreditation services from counties belongs to European Union and EFTA or countries which applies about membership in EU and EFTA.
Subsidiary membership is too possible for another national accreditation services from countries which are bested in the Europe. EA provides united progress for accreditation certification bodies, laboratories and so on and universal acceptation of accredited certificates, attests and so on. (All members of EA have signed MLA agreement about mutual acceptance of issued certificates see article about IAF).
ISO - International Organization for Standardization www.iso.ch
It is a non-governmental organization, which elaborates and issues standards, technical reports and instructions. It has on his own account more than 13 700 international standards, she has been an elaborator of ISO 9000 and ISO 14000 standards.
It coordinates creation of international standards within the frame 145 countries, she cooperates with others international organizations, which are interested in the scope of standards and supports the harmonization of standards and their application in the worldwide values. She realizes activities through 225 technical commissions (ISO/TC) which are oriented according to thematic areas. Technical commission ISO/ZTC 176 covers commissions, which have been authors of ISO 9000 standards. Authors of ISO 14000 standards have been commissions which belongs below the technical commission ISO/TC 207.
QSCert belongs to small group of certification bodies (about 30 all around the world) which are mentioned in the official website ISO organization, as a certification bodies with international operation.
